This document is a template provided with the InstantQR software. The site operator should review it with legal counsel and adapt it to their jurisdiction before relying on it.
What cookies we set
InstantQR uses a small number of first-party cookies, all functional. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Session cookie — keeps you signed in to your account. Set only after you log in; expires when the session ends or you log out.
- Security cookies — short-lived tokens used during login, email verification and password reset to protect those flows.
What we do not use
No third-party advertising cookies, no social media pixels, and no cross-site trackers. Anonymous visitors generating static QR codes get no cookies at all.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie means you cannot stay signed in, but the free generator and scanner keep working without any cookies.
