Terms of Service

The agreement

These terms apply between you and AetherDev Solutions, Shivaji Chowk, 101, Raigad Building, Hinjawadi, Maharashtra 411057, India, and cover your use of InstantQR. By creating an account you accept them.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself and use an email address you actually control — sign-in codes and password resets go there, and without access to it we cannot restore your account.

Plans, trials and payment

Each plan states its own limits and features, and the service enforces them. New accounts start on a trial; when the trial ends, paid features stop until the account is on a paid plan. We may change prices, but a change never applies to time you have already paid for. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise.

Acceptable use

You must not use InstantQR to:

• Point QR codes at malware, phishing pages, or content that deceives the scanner about where they are going
• Impersonate a person, business or payment recipient
• Distribute illegal content, or content that infringes someone else’s rights
• Send unsolicited bulk messages or harvest personal data
• Attack, overload or attempt to bypass the security of the service

We validate destination links and may disable a QR code, profile or account that breaches this section — including without notice where there is a risk to the people scanning a code.

Your content

What you put into a QR code or business profile stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to host it, serve it to people who scan your codes, and generate the images you download. You confirm you have the right to use any logo, image or trademark you upload.

Dynamic QR codes

A dynamic QR code encodes a short link on our domain and the destination is resolved when it is scanned. That is what lets you change the destination without reprinting. It also means a printed dynamic code depends on this service continuing to run and on your account staying active. If you need a code with no dependency on us, use a static code.

Availability

We work to keep the service available and will give notice of planned maintenance where we can, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses caused by an outage, and specifically not for indirect or consequential loss such as lost profit or lost business.

Deletion and termination

You can delete a QR code, a profile, or your whole account at any time. Deletion is permanent and printed codes stop working. We may suspend or close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms; where the breach is not urgent we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction over any dispute.
